Almost half a century ago in 1956 Late Shri Karpoor Chand "KULISH" laid the foundation of Rajasthan Patrika with a borrowed capital of just Rs. 500. Although the idea of starting a newspaper from scratch was a challenge, Shri Kulish ji embarked upon this venture with sheer grit and determination. Encouraged by the undying faith of its readers and its impregnable foundation, Rajasthan Patrika forayed into other fields and is now touching the lives of people daily. Patrika has spread its wings to yellow pages, management school, outdoors advertising, Mobile value added service, events, publications, etc. Today, Rajasthan Patrika conglomerate despite its enormous growth, stands cohesive with the common core values.

It is a newspaper, which is respected for its editorial values and trusted by the masses. Recently conducted BBC-Reuters Survey puts Rajasthan Patrika amongst the top 5 most trusted newspapers in India.

It enjoys the distinction of being the first Indian newspaper to have won both IFRA Asia, for excellence in printing and SOPA for best reporting in the same year.

Patrika figured among the top five successful Asian Community newspapers (AMIC, Singapore - UNESCO)

Rajasthan Patrika is among top 5 most-read Hindi dailies in India and is the no.1 Hindi daily in Rajasthan, Gujarat, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu (IRS 07).

In Rajasthan alone it has already crossed the readership of 10.21 million readers (CR IRS 07) and is equal to readership of all other newspapers put together. It enjoys a massive Response Strength of over 1.2 Million, qualified through a direct coupon scheme. The land Mark events of the group enjoy footfalls of 1.1 to 1.5 Million.

Owing to its honest, selective and detailed coverage of local news, Patrika gained a huge popularity and it became the newspaper of masses and the classes. The committed team of journalists evolves with the readers' needs, understanding their desire for information, providing them with the tools that can keep them ahead in their professional and personal lives.
Today, Patrika has 17 publishing centers across India. It is simultaneously published from major cities of Rajasthan viz. Jaipur, Jodhpur, Bikaner, Udaipur, Kota, Sikar, SriGanganagar, Bhilwara, Alwar, Ajmer and also from other cities like Ahemdabad, Bangalore ,Surat, Kolkata and Chennai. . It has an army of 600 correspondents, reporters and stringers spread all across the country. It enjoys a vast network of 3,500 agents and 12,000 Hawkers.

Patrika has its corporate offices at Bhopal, Chandigarh, Coimbatore, Dehradun, Delhi, Hubli, Hyderabad, Indore , Jabalpur, Kanpur, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Pune, Raipur, and Vishakapatnam. Patrika is reaching in more than 50 countries via P.E.P.C worldwide’s press point vending machines.
